I have decided that there will be no shapeshifters in my mod and that my nod will exclusively go toward making Twilig vampires. 

As you guys should know, I am trying to mimic the canon Twilight vampire lore. Obviously the story has werewolves in it that are called "shapeshifters" in the last book, but there are also traditional werewolves in the Twilight universe. We just never get to see them. If you wish to have traditional werewolves in your canonical Twilight gameplay, you can confidently play it knowing that you can get any werewolf mod out there and add it to your game. 

Now, another obvious thing is that shapeshifters, or the Quileute werewolves, are a very integral element in the canonical Twilight saga. 

However, unfortunately the lore of Q. werewolves that Meyer creates was not okayed by the tribe from which she takes the stories. 

Plus, her portrayals of  the Quileutes and the juxtaposition of their narrative role for the purpose of hyping up Bella and the Cullens, the fact that this werewolf lore is not present in actual Quileute tales and religious stories (remember the not asking for permission bit, it's important for later), and Meyer's creation of the shapeshifters have actually lead to real-life negative effects on the real life tribe speaks of the unethical existence of this element of Quileuete werewolves. It is too rife with racial discrimination to justify recreating it in a mod. 

So hopefully you guys can understand why I just can't consider adding Quileuete werewolves into the game through my hands. If Meyer had consulted the tribe, asked its members how they felt and negotiated some sort of compensation. 

Because, I mean it's their stories and they struggle more than many/ most white communities to get some basic amenities, why not pay them to help them out and to express some respect and gratitude if they decide to give permission and share? Why not take their suggestions on how to create a Quileuete werewolf if you wanted/needed that so badly?

Anyway, this got long. Instead of Quileute werewolves, I will leave it at the crazy vampires and their unfortunate offspring. Peace!
